ROTARY CLUB OF BANGSAR TREE PLANTING PROJECT

Bukit Tinggi Forest Reserve, Pahang

On September 19th, 2013, Rotary Club of Bangsar together with Pertubuhan Pelindung Khazanah Alam Malaysia PEKA and Sunway University to do a tree planting project to create a greener environment and to promote environmental sustainability.

During the Tree Planting Project, Rotarians and volunteers planted 1,000 trees at the Bukit Tinggi Forest Reserve.

In the afternoon, the Rotarians and volunteers retreated back to the camp site to enjoy some lunch and refreshments, during which we introduced the foreign students our local delight; durians.

The project ended by the Rotarians and the volunteers enjoying the fresh river water.

On top of that, Rotary Club of Bangsar donated RM 2,000 to PEKA, and Rotarian Michael donated RM 2,000 and friend of Rotary Club of Bangsar, Mr. Lee, donated RM 1,000.
