It took her 10 years to do it, but wheelchair-bound Rajvin Kaur Pall Singh never gave up on her dreams of getting a degree.
Yesterday, the 23 year-old saw her dream come true when she was among the 1,216 graduates who received their scrolls at Help University’s 26th convocation at the Shangri-La Hotel here.
Rajvin, who suffers from cerebral palsy, a condition that affects her movement and condition, received a second-class honours degree in communication (public relations).
“My condition was never a hindrance. It didn’t stop me from achieving my goals. I believe that cerebral palsy is just one part of me, it is not the whole of me.”
